Workshop - Funding an Indie Film
Eastern Riverina Arts presents a unique opportunity to learn from the writer, director, and producer of the award-winning film "Evicted! A Modern Romance.” In this 2-hour workshop they will speak about the process of self-funding, making, and selling independent films in Australia. This is a chance to learn and gain valuable insights into independent filmmaking as they share tips and tricks and provide access to exclusive resources to aid you at every stage of production.

ABOUT THE FILM
Evicted! A Modern Romance is a fresh and topical Aussie comedy that follows four housemates on the verge of eviction in Sydney fraught rental market, looking for a new place to call home. It takes a satirical look at today’s housing and job market and the hilarious trials and tribulations that come along with it.
The film was independently financed and winner of the audience choice award Sydney Film Festival 2022, and has screened at CinefestOZ and Brisbane international Film Festival.
