The Station Creative Workspace gives artists, companies and creative entrepreneurs in the Riverina a launchpad to experiment, collaborate and showcase new work.
The Station offers a workshop and gallery space, meeting room and digital studio, creative office suites and affordable artist studios on one site. Our mission is to support artists, freelancers and creative companies to collaborate, do business and grow.
Bookable Spaces
The Ambo Gallery
The Ambo Gallery is an exhibition and event space designed to showcase and inspire our region's growing creative community. The Gallery's exhibition program changes every 4-6 weeks and features local artists through a variety of shows. These include both solo and group shows as well as community exhibitions. This centrally-located gallery is also available as an affordable self-service event or workshop space.

The AMBO Gallery is a versatile workshop and event space showing the best of local creativity, creative enterprise and community. The AMBO Gallery is publicly bookable for events and workshops.
Event and workshop availability in the AMBO Gallery is subject to the exhibition schedule.
Quiet Hours
Between 10am – 4pm Monday to Friday, the AMBO gallery is only available to users who won’t use a public address system, or otherwise cause excessive noise.
Configuration
The AMBO Gallery can seat up to 50 people in a lecture-style arrangement. For workshops where participants are seated around trestle tables the maximum recommended capacity is 24 participants
Inclusions:
Users can access our supply of chairs, trestle tables, a lectern and plinths. A 75 inch portable screen and a small PA system can be made available to users by prior arrangement.
Access to the kitchen space for food and beverage preparation, platters and glassware
Please Note: Bookings for this space must be made three days in advance as they require approval from Eastern Riverina Arts.
Meeting Room & Studio
This flexible meeting room comfortably seats 10 participants for a face to face or hybrid meetings.
This digital studio also includes easy to use video equipment, lighting and backdrops to support the creation of digital content, and photograph artworks and products.

A flexible boardroom/training room and digital studio that is digitally-connected and kitted out with specialist backdrops and lighting equipment to facilitate video recordings, webcasting, product photography and hybrid meetings.
This spacious room has wonderful natural light and city views. With a high-resolution camera, microphone, projector and speakers all in-situ, it is ready to accommodate a presentation or video conferencing (control from your laptop’s USB-C port).
The room can be reconfigured into a studio with inbuilt video lighting and motorised green, white and grey backdrops to facilitate video recording, webcasting and product photography.
Inclusions:
Boardroom table and chairs (seats 12)
Projector and powered speakers + camera and microphone on tripod. All connected via a single USB-C port on your computer to enable presentations and hybrid meetings (e.g. Zoom, Teams, Google Meet etc.)
Whiteboard with markers and eraser
If you require a loan of our PA system, and/or vendor access to the covered outdoor event space please let us know in the ‘comments’ section of the booking page so that we can accommodate your request.
Bookings for this space can be made up to one hour before the booking starts.
Covered Market / Event Space
This covered outdoor area has stunning views to Wollundry Lagoon and the Victory Memorial Gardens. This area suits a broad range of events, gatherings and markets, as a standalone space or in connection with the Ambo Gallery.

Connected to the gallery is a covered outdoor area with stunning views to the Lagoon and Victory Memorial Gardens. This area can accommodate a broad range of niche events and markets, and can facilitate secure construction of large-scale artworks, and as an event support area for the Victory Memorial Gardens.

Configuration of the venue with access to trestle tables, chairs and a lectern
Access to the kitchen space for food and beverage preparation, platters and glassware

The Station offers a competitive standard rate for each of its publicly bookable spaces.
We also negotiate partnership rates with community/cultural groups and artists proposing activities with clear creative or community impact. In exchange for these rate subsidies, partners commit to acknowledge Eastern Riverina Arts in their communications and any other terms in their partnership agreement. Please note as a not for profit organisation, Eastern Riverina Arts’ capacity to subsidise shows is limited and decisions around partnership are made at our sole discretion.

Take your creative business from the kitchen table to the CBD! The Station’s three secure, furnished creative office suites are available on month-to-month terms to support the Riverina’s next generation of creative companies. Bring in your laptop and a vision.

Eastern Riverina Arts coordinates a suite of programming at the Ambo Gallery. This includes an annual exhibition program as well as professional development workshops and events targeted towards artists and creative businesses.
The Ambo Gallery is currently welcoming EOIs from artists, groups, organizations and institutions and across the Riverina!
