Exhibition Offerings
The Ambo Gallery provides four exhibition offerings that are designed to invest in artists, showcase local creativity and build lasting partnerships.
-
A Solo Show steps up your CV and showcases a significant new body of work.
This is your chance to make mistakes and refine ideas within the context of an exhibition. A solo show at the Ambo gallery provides a major up-skilling opportunity for ambitious artists who want to be noticed.
Artists participating in a solo show will gain skills in grant writing, self-marketing, exhibition planning and a basic understanding of contracts and agreements. Solo shows are open to individual artists and collectives to exhibit new or previously unseen work.
Presenting a Solo show is a significant undertaking, and requires investment of the artist’s time and resources not only to create the body of work, but to install and de-install the exhibition, and invigilate the gallery space during exhibition hours.
How to apply:
Solo show EOI forms are available on the ERA website, alternatively if you would like to discuss your idea for a solo show please contact admin@easternriveirnaarts.org.au.

The group show is the perfect place to start or level-up your professional arts practice. This offering is for artists who are interested in exhibiting but don’t have the time or resources to create and present a full solo exhibition.
Eastern Riverina Arts will coordinate group shows on a periodical basis. Each show is centered around a theme and artists are selected through an Expression of Interest process to be involved in the exhibition.
A Group Show at the Ambo Gallery provides networking and collaboration opportunities, feedback sessions, curatorial support and exhibition preparedness skills for its participating artists. Group show exhibition development will commence two months before the exhibition launch date, and exhibiting artists are expected to contribute some voluntary time to assist with install and deinstall, staffing the venue.
