2023 is off and running with a new National Cultural Policy ‘Revive: a place for every story, a story for every place’ launched by the Australian Government this month. Revive is a five-year plan to renew and revive Australia's arts, entertainment and cultural sector. This is great news!

| | Duo Historie Songs of the Cities
Music in the Regions is launching their 2023 music program with one of Australia's most unique and engaging chamber duos, Duo Histoire, performing Songs of the Cities from 1-9 March. Duo Histoire’s award-winning musicians and accomplished soloists, saxophonist Nick Russoniello and classical guitarist Murilo Tanouye, will transport audiences from venues across regional NSW to the tango halls of Argentina, the streets of São Paulo and the salons of Paris.

| | Regional Arts Australia Turns 80!
In 2023 Regional Arts Australia will celebrate 80 years since being established in 1943 as the Council for the Encouragement of Music.
For 80 years, Regional Arts Australia has been facilitating opportunities, increasing access, maintaining collaborative relationships, and providing timely support to celebrate Australian stories across art forms and across landscapes.
To celebrate they are launching their Pledge a Dot initiative to secure the future of Regional Arts Australia. The campaign seeks to raise $1 million to increase core capacity in the delivery of support for arts in regional Australia. They are also aiming to Sponsor a Regional Artist Residency in a new strategic program providing income for 80 artists in year-long community-based residencies across regional Australia.

Advance Ardlethan presents the Ardlethan Art Prize from Friday 12 May to Sunday 14 May, with a Gala Opening Night on Friday 12th May, 6:30pm at Ardlethan Memorial Hall.
