Opportunity for emerging screen practitioner with WildBear Entertainment
As part of the Create NSW Screen Attachment Wildbear Entertainment are looking for an emerging screen practitioner or someone looking to upskill in Post Production. The position is supported by CreateNSW and situated within the documentary production company WildBear on an award winning international history series.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to get their foot in the door in TV post production on an upcoming program that will be broadcast in Australia and Canada!
Details
The position would provide award wages for someone in the Riverina Area who meets the following criteria
Be a screen practitioner aged at least 18 years old
Be NSW-based, and have been for the last 6 months
Be an Australian Permanent resident or citizen
Meet one of the priority groups (see below)
Be an early or mid-career screen practitioner
Be an individual, have a valid ABN and, if required by law, be registered for GST.
Applicants must be part of at least one of the following priority areas:
Regional NSW
Western Sydney
First Nations people
People from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds
People living with disability
LGBTQIA+ people.
The gig would be up to 4 weeks FT equivalent, and include work in December and January (with a break over Christmas and the New Year). The successful applicant would have the opportunity to travel to Canberra to see how the colour grading, audio mixing and other finishing takes place.
Key activities would include:
Assisting with deliverables
Assisting with publicity & social media assets
Reporting documentation
Organising screenings
Assisting Post Supervisor
Eastern Riverina Arts can also provide office space within The Station to a successful candidate.
