‘Rogue Thoughts’ Exhibition Launch

  • The Station Creative Workspace 54-58 Johnston Street Wagga Wagga, NSW, 2650 Australia (map)

King Merino by Chris Roe

Come down to the Ambo Gallery at Station Creative Workspace to see local artist Chis Roe's latest body of work in 'Rogue Thoughts'. Inspired by a pop-art and steampunk/post apocalyptic style, the works in this exhibition can be enjoyed individually or as a group, pieced together to form a large scale collage of colour.

“Since early 2023 I have embarked on a mission to put paint to canvas every day focusing on colour and figures. Working primarily in a 30 x 30cm format, I have created dozens of paintings in the pop art genre that can all be pieced together edge to edge in large-scale collages of colour. Part of my mandate was not to overthink each piece and to generate images that evoke a science-fiction, steampunk and post-apocalyptic vibe.” – Chris Roe
