Happy November from Eastern Riverina Arts!

So much has been happening over the last month here at ERA!

We celebrated the launch of our latest Renew Wagga participant Unique State Art Space! The team also went to Sydney to meet with the other regional arts NSW network organisations and had a great time in person connecting and talking about how we can better advocate for the arts in our region.

What's coming up?

On Thursday November 24th the ERA team will be in Gundagai providing an opportunity for local creatives and creative groups to up-skill their marketing skills as well as catch up face-to-face to chat about funding, projects and creative plans. And, after so much interest in the world of NFT's at our last ArtWork, we are also bringing Australian Artist Yianni Johns back in December for ArtWork topic #2 - NFT's for Creatives

Read on for more details and discover the latest opportunities, events and news from our region and beyond.

ArtWork: NFT's for Creatives

This session is for any artist who feels ready to list an artwork for sale as a Non Fungible Token (NFT), is prepared to create a digital wallet, ready to learn how to get best results from selling in the crypto market and start their NFT journey. This is a working session so some understanding of NFT’s is beneficial, but not mandatory. The session will be broken into two parts, an informational session, and then a working session.

We will:

Discuss the risks and involved in NFT’s and Crypto

Discuss the pushback from conventional audiences

Learn from local artist Yianni Johns who has experienced success in this market

Explore how marketing of NFT’s is different to traditional art marketing

Explore the different selling platforms and pro’s/con’s of each

By the end of the session you will have listed an NFT for sale

Registration through Eventbrite is essential. Note you will need to establish a Crypto wallet to begin selling an NFT and this may require the purchase of a small amount of a cryptocurrency. ERA does not endorse the usage of Cryptocurrencies.
