Happy December from Eastern Riverina Arts!


It’s been a big year for arts and culture in the Riverina and we are incredibly proud of the continuing quality, commitment and dedication of the creatives in our region.


As you break for the summer holidays, take the time to think big and make a bold plan for 2025, CASP is open now. This month’s newsletter is packed with opportunities and resources to help you take your creative practice to the next level.

Country Arts Support Program (CASP) - applications open now!


Are you an artist looking to level up your creative practice in 2025? Are you a group, collective or company with a bold creative project in the works?


There are two streams available through the Eastern Riverina Arts Country Arts Support Program to support proposals for 2025:

  • For Individuals, max $750 – for professional development or the realisation/presentation of an ambitious artistic outcome, or

  • For Projects, max $3000 – for original creative projects and collaborations that meet the eligibility criteria.
     

Applications close: Monday 3rd February 2025, 9:00am

Eastern Riverina Arts are also delivering information sessions across the region to support local artists, organisations and groups to learn about our upcoming Country Arts Support Program (CASP).

Celebrations and good news!

After a year of professional development we celebrated the graduating participants from the Eastern Riverina region in the Horizons Creative Industries Launchpad at a small gathering at The Station this month.


Congratulations also to Riverina based creative organisations The Wired Lab and the CAD Factory for being recipients of Create NSW Annual Funding!

BANJO - March 2025 Riverina Tour


Eastern Riverina Arts are bringing Got Ya Back Productions’ acclaimed production of BANJO to the Riverina Touring Network!


BANJO is the poetry of Banjo Patterson, the music of Coldplay and the power of contemporary dance, weaved together in one powerful evening of stage chemistry.

Featuring writer/performer and former Hi-5 member Tim Maddren, dance and choreography by Steph Maddren, musical arrangements by Mat Brooker and more.

BANJO will perform from 8th-21st March in Griffith, West Wyalong, Cootamundra, Ganmain, Junee and beyond in a major regional tour.


This incredibly exciting opportunity to enjoy a world-class performance of Australian regionally-created theatre is made possible through funding support from Create NSW, and the efforts of performances venues across the Riverina.
