Announcing 2025 CASP Recipients
Eastern Riverina Arts is pleased to announce the 16 successful recipients of the 2025 Country Arts Support Program.
CASP is a devolved funding program of the NSW Government administered by Eastern Riverina Arts. This year, Eastern Riverina Arts has contributed $5,224 on top of the NSW Government's $17,000 contribution this year to support a greater number of recipients.

Individuals
Projects that ‘level up’ an artist’s practice or professional development
Beau Buckley ($750)
Beau will record his first demo album for release across the Temora/Riverina region.
Gabrielle Tozer ($750)
A professional development opportunity for award-winning author and mentor Gabrielle Tozer. She will be guided by industry professionals who specialise in creative arts and psychology to elevate her toolkit as a workshop facilitator and mentor living in the Riverina.
Rory Phillips ($750)
Rory will record a new music single to be released prior to ANZAC Day 2025, featuring Dobe Newton OAM of The Bushwackers. This will be Rory's first musical collaboration and includes mentorship from an established producer.
Kate Smith ($750)
Kate will collaborate with a local plastic fabricator to develop new sculptural pieces for exhibition at a regional gallery.
Raeleen Pfeiffer ($750)
Raeleen will attend a mentoring weekend with an established printmaker to learn a new, safer technique for acquatinting on aluminium that avoids the usage of nitric acid. This knowledge will inform Raeleen's practice and will be passed on to students in the Riverina.
Julie Gibbons ($750)
Julie will participate in a variety of artist-run workshops and receive mentorship from their facilitators, so that Julie can develop her own workshop programs, teaching surface pattern design and linocut to local artists and designers in mid-2025 and beyond.
Rebecca Cutler ($750)
Rebecca will attend an online course by The Paper Lab "3D Paper Making & Casting" and purchase tools to create finer detailed linocuts to incorporate into her artworks.
Georgina Luelf ($750)
Georgina will complete an online watercolour course with the National Art School with accomplished watercolourist Tanya Baily. These skills will enhance her ability to create a wider range of works and broaden her skill set.
Kim Baker ($550)
Funding to help create a professional artist portfolio. This portfolio will include high-quality photography of a collection of local landscape artworks.
Rosemary Warren ($750)
Materials and resources to expand an exhibition at the Curious Rabbit in Wagga Wagga to showcase Ronsemary's work.
Projects
Impactful projects and creative collaborations
Temora and Disrtict Visual Arts ($3,000)
The project will enhance and draw people to an existing art centre with a dynamic and colourful art mural created by a local artist with assistance of community members belonging to TADVAC.
Wagga Wagga School of Arts ($1,324)
Purchasing a QLAB MAC Mini M2, keyboard and screen to operate SoACT's new lighting and sound desks.
Tumut Art Society Inc ($3,000)
The establishment of a regional art group of ‘outdoor artists’. A en plein air drawing, sketching and painting group of members of the combined Eastern Riverina Art Societies including Wagga Wagga Art Society, Temora and District Visual Arts Centre, and Tumbarumba Artists on Parade, led by Tumut Art Society.
Temora Creative Writers (U3A) ($1,650)
In partnership with the Bundawarrah Centre and Platform Y youth space, the Temora Writers will bring together writers and painters to respond to each other's works. Local youth will be invited to participate in the project.
Wagga Wagga Art Society ($2,950)
Developing a professional website to strengthen the Society's online presence and engage the local community in upcoming events and activities.
Up2Date Art Inc Coolamon ($3,000)
To create an art mural depicting 20 years of Up2Date Art in Coolamon. A one day interactive workshop on the 9th August 2025 held in the Up To Date Store. Inviting members of the Coolamon community to paint the 'paint by numbers' artwork which will be installed at the precinct.
