Aboriginal Arts

Eastern Riverina Arts acknowledges the Wiradjuri and Wolgalu people as the traditional owners of the lands on which it operates. Eastern Riverina Arts recognises First Nations people’s right to self-determination.

In early 2018, with our new governance and advisory structures, a First Nations reference group was established. Chaired by artist Aunty Lorraine Tye, the First Nations Cultural Reference Group provides an opportunity for our region’s First Nations leaders and artists to provide strategic direction on how Eastern Riverina Arts can assist (if required) our region’s Aboriginal communities to meet their social, cultural and economic needs.

It is a privilege to work closely with our First Nations people and we are excited for the new projects to come.

Below are links to a few of our artists’ websites and Aboriginal arts projects we have delivered in the past.
