PLATFORM is an exciting new accessible chill-out space for people of all ages and abilities.
After attending it’s first festival in West Wyalong earlier in the year, PLATFORM is heading back on the road! Eastern Riverina Arts is thrilled to announce that PLATFORM will be attending the Lanterns By the Lagoon Festival in Tumut (September 21st), Spring Jam in Wagga (September 28th) and Spirit of the Land in Lockhart ( October 12th -13th).
Soft music, slow moving lights, interactive tactile objects, weighted blankets and lots of fluffy cushions make PLATFORM the perfect place to engage the senses or just take some time out.Housed in a uniquely refurbished shipping container, PLATFORM is able to easily shift between a sensory space, chill out area, exhibition space and even a small stage. Throughout the course of each festival, PLATFORM will be fully reserved as a quiet space for festival goers with sensory related needs and their carers.
Accompanying the shipping container is Ezy-Dun: A fully accessible, portable bathroom with a toilet, hoist and adult changing table. Ezy- Dun is available to all festival attendees and is specially designed to assist people with a range of disabilities and their carers.
