Macrosystem was developed during COVID-19 lockdown, and explores the notion that everything is connected. Investigating this through complex interactions of interrelated systems, singular elements intertwine, shift and weave between each other organically.
In an effort to contain the virus, we remained physically distanced, isolated from each other, and our exterior surroundings. As individuals we grappled with our sense of place and the uncertainty of our future.
Distracted by these questions a tangible form intuitively unearths, exploring the continuous and repetitive tensions between internal and external dynamics.
Macrosystem becomes an abstract landscape with no fixed point. A map that invites each viewer to engage and navigate through the work from their own perspective, intrigued and guided by their own internal expectations, beckoning us to move forward, toward our own horizon.
