Untitled (from Diversity)
This work is a part of a series where I used photography as a lens through which I could ask questions and be curious about alternative farming techniques. I reached out to some friends who own a farm on the outskirts of Wagga and have recently switched to a regenerative agriculture approach. I created this work as a photographic interpretation of what I learned through conversation and collaboration with them.
Regenerative farming begins at a root level, focusing on soil health as this has flow on effect for the health of the rest of the farm. Regenerative agriculture is re-defining the value of plants conventionally seen as weeds, highlighting the importance of diversity.
