Refugee Week 2011: Postcard Exhibition

If you only had five minutes to flee your home, what would you take?  

In the weeks leading up to Refugee Week (June 19-26) everyone is invited to visit any branch of the Riverina Regional Library and fill out a postcard. Participants can either draw or write about the things they would choose to take.  The postcards will be on display in Riverina Regional Library branches until the beginning of Refugee Week.  The postcards will then be returned to Wagga Wagga where they will be exhibited at the Refugee Week Community Celebration at Kyeamba Smith Hall, Wagga Wagga, Saturday 25 June.

 

The Riverina Regional Libraries are found in Adelong, Ariah Park, Batlow, Coolamon, Cootamundra, Culcairn, Gundagai, Henty, Junee, Talbingo, Temora, Tumut and Wagga Wagga.
