SIMON TEDESCHI & IAN COOPER TO TOUR EASTERN RIVERINA

Famed classical Pianist Simon Tedeschi and Virtuoso Jazz Violinist Ian Cooper will tour The Riverina over three dates in February.

These two masters are set to take The Riverina by storm with their consummate skill and love of performing. Equally at home in concert halls or country churches, Ian Cooper and Simon Tedeschi are a musical sensation, leaving audiences on their feet and calling for more.

Having just returned from 5 years in the USA, Simon Tedeschi is a musical chameleon, known Australia-wide for his phenomenal artistry and technical wizardry. Ian Cooper has been dazzling audiences for decades, as a performer and raconteur in the spirit of Stephane Grappelli.

Their performances will include works by Stephane Grappelli, Rachmaninoff, Mozart, Gershwin, Percy Grainger, Grieg, Saint Saëns, Django Reinhardt & Fats Waller.

The tour has been organised by Musica Viva and Eastern Riverina Arts and Regional Arts Development Officer Scott Howie says, “This is an amazing coup for our region. To have such internationally acclaimed musicians play for us in our towns is a real treat.”
