Sue Dyde is a Wagga Wagga based painter who draws her inspiration from the environment of the Riverina and this in turn is reflected in her colour palette – beautiful earthy reds and gold tones.
Sue’s visual imagery is expressionistic in style and her subject matter varies from abstraction to landscape, animal to human characters.
Over the years Sue’s painting practice has evolved through experimentation and she has worked with a variety of textures such as impasto, sand, rocks, glass, resin, plaster and paper.
Sue has a background in jewellery design and worked in the industry for 28 years before shifting her creative energy to painting.
In this time Sue has exhibited in the Riverina and surrounding districts, as well as the Central Coast, Gosford, metropolitan Sydney and Brisbane.
